Heriot-Watt aims to raise £35 million for new brewing and distilling centre

Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt University is seeking to raise £35m in order to realise its vision of building a new Centre for Sustainable Brewing and Distilling (CSBD).

The CSBD will replace the existing International Centre for Brewing and Distilling (ICBD), which since 1989 has run courses on brewing and distilling attended by the likes of BrewDog co-founder Martin Dickie, Arbikie Highland Estate master distiller Kirsty Black and Edinburgh Gin head distiller David Wilkinson.
